Berg v. Obama Update -- Monday, August 25
2:30pm
I spoke with Philip Berg a few minutes ago with two questions on my mind. First, I wanted to hear his perspective on what was said by William Rodriguez, Berg's former client in the racketeering action filed against our government alleging complicity in the attacks of September 11, 2001. Secondly, I wanted to ask about the status of his civil action.
Rodriguez, a janitor working in the North Tower of the World Trade Center, was in the basement when American Airlines Flight 11 slammed into the building so many floors above. He escaped, but went back in with his master key, unlocking doors for firefighters and saving countless lives. Rodriguez, said to have been the last one out of the North Tower before it collapsed, was the plaintiff in Phil Berg's second RICO action against the U.S. Government and called me with regard to something that Berg had said during our Friday interview.
Among other things, Rodriguez mentioned that Berg was no longer his attorney, but continued to collect donations in his name on his 9/11 conspiracy theory Web site. He told me that Berg sprung the theories onto him, and that he could not believe the contents of the RICO complaint that had been filed on his behalf. He also stated that, with regard to the current suit against Barack Obama, Berg was likely just looking for a "landmark case" with which he could make a name for himself.
In Is this For Real, and Why Hasn't the Mainstream Media Covered it Yet?, I wrote that I was somewhat leery of a possible agenda on the part of Rodriguez, just like I am leery of ulterior motives from Phil Berg. Again, I've been trying to be as fair and objective here, despite political and ideological leanings which foster hope that John McCain, and not Barack Obama, wins the election in November. Therefore, in the interest of fairness, I wanted to get a response from Berg.
On the telephone this afternoon, Berg maintained that William Rodriguez had indeed reviewed and approved the RICO complaint before it had been filed, and any claim that he had somehow surprised Rodriguez with the information within is "a blatant mischaracterization, and totally inaccurate." Furthermore, Berg explained that the underlying reason the professional relationship between him and Rodriguez was severed was because Rodriguez, calling him from a conference in Los Angeles, had mentioned that he was in talks with studio officials for a movie to be made about his life.
As for the donations continued to be accepted using Rodriguez's name, Berg stated that he had not actively been on the Web site in question for a long time, that "maybe $20 has been raised over the past two years," and that in coming days he will be sure to put out a statement on that site that Rodriguez is no longer his client and hasn't been for two years' time.
William Rodriguez sees it another way, saying that he never mentioned a movie deal.
Regardless, as I mentioned in a previous piece, when it comes to politics and this matter pertaining to Barack Obama's citizenship and constitutional eligibility, everybody has an agenda, and getting to a tangible truth is somewhat about peeling away the layers of the ulterior motives. Berg, who was indeed a Hillary Clinton supporter and who subscribes to the opinion that our government was somehow behind 9/11, has an agenda. So does William Rodriguez, who feels as though Berg's actions through the process behind the RICO suit deprived him of an opportunity to gain answers about the terrorist attacks. So do I, for that matter, but I have been trying hard to give a fair shake to each side.
As for the status of the lawsuit, Berg mentioned that he is unaware of whether Obama, the Federal Election Commission, or the DNC has yet been served. He did say that word of the action--not an official service--was delivered to the DNC's credentials committee on Sunday, but he's not sure if it came through.
News of the lawsuit, he said, has been spreading. He's done a number of interviews on radio, and will be taping an interview with the BBC tonight.
Other than that, I know nothing else. Please keep checking America's Right for more updates and other materials as well.

The FACT that Obama has to date
refused to bring forth his actual Birth Certificate...not the Certificate of Live Birth.. reeks and cries out for RIGOROUS, VIGOROUS FORENSIC EXAMINATION OF HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE, BY THE BEST SUCH EXAMINER POSSIBLE. I hardly think FactCheck is such an entity.
The reason for the rigorous forensic examination is because so much time has elapsed since people first started asking him for it. It gives plenty of time for a great forgery to be made of it. I'm not saying that such is the case, but I don't think the issue will just disappear UNTIL that Birth Certificate is so examined.
The FACT that one month after being elected US Senator, the next month, before even taking that seat, he went to Kenya, a Muslim nation, and there criticized THEIR President, stood on a platform with his opponent,Odinga, and so much violence and deaths occurred AFTER THAT, that(as I understand) the President had to offer Odinga some sort of a power-share deal.
THAT WAS A PRIORITY OF A BRAND NEW, NOT YET SEATED, U.S. SENATOR?
Why would he PERSONALLY involve himself in Kenya's politics? Very interesting, and questionable.
Leaves me wondering where IS his allegiance?
Convince me that with less than 143 days as a first term Senator, he had the time and comprehension to sponsor S-2433, the Global Poverty Act!! This is a budget-breaking $845 Billion, 7% of our GNP, and because certain protocols, goals, etc ARE ALREADY IN PLACE IN THE U.N., IF THIS BILL PASSES, the United States will become compliant to things that the United States NEVER RATIFIED! Might someone look at that as his being a 'front man' for some unknown agenda?
As I understand, when registering as an attorney in the state of Illinois he was asked (on paper or by voice?) if he had used any other names, did the name Barry
Soetoro not ring a bell? Isn't that the name shown on his school records? Hmmm. Makes me wonder.
School mates, even a couple relatives said he was Muslim in his youth, but they have likely recanted it or no longer remember.
He has shown no real alligeance to this country since entering the Presidential race. He didn't wear and American flag pin until recently (you can live in a garage and never become a car, too). He
stood on the platform with his
hands in front of him, as honor was being given to America. He took the American flag off his plane, on his 5 day experience in
foreign relations tour, and put a Big O on it. (BIG, BIG " OH OH!")
The DNC cards with the upside-down flag. That was a HUGE OFFENSE to American people and can't be excused or explained away.
Personally, I find NOTHING in this man that gives me any confidence in his priorities; his integrity (too often making a statement, then he or spokesman coming back to "clarify" it; to
explain what he meant..); his
experience; his past/current mentors/associates; or his full allegiance to this nation.
I believe, if the media were no so far left, they could make a complete comedy out of Obama and his flip-flops and goofs (57 states?) A shame, too. I expect they could have had orbit reaching ratings with such.
This lawsuit is a loser: the independent Factcheck.org got their hands on Obama's Birth Certificate and here is what they found:
http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html
I think this old saying may be apropriate:
If it sound too good to be true......................
Guess we will just have to try and beat Obama the old fasion way: at the poles.
Factcheck hasn't yet disproven the claim that Obama became an Indonesian citizen when his mom married Lolo Soetoro. If that is proven to be true, that will kill Obama's dreams of becoming POTUS even if he was born a U.S. citizen.
Being ??British and therefore having no direct interest in the outcome of the US election, only a newsjunkie's curiosity I have moved during this year from thinking Batak Obama was an interesting candidate to fearing what his Presidency might achieve should he be elected. The man is way out of his depth now and is not even the official candidate yet.
Another potential embarrasment that was not reported in the MSM was his hint that he expected to be invited to address the British Parliament and be endorsed by the British Government.
Obviously unaware of the protocol that demands no government can be seen to involve itself in the elections of another state, he failed to spot here is a pattern in the foreign leaders who have addressed our Parliament. Americans President Reagan, President Clinton and President bush, from France President Chirac and Germany's Chancellor Kohl. All were at the time elected leaders of their nations.
But that did not bother Barry so why would a little thing like needing to be a natural American in order to become President stand in his way.
Read any Obama fan site and you will soon realise the rules do not apply to Barry. He can do what he likes because he has hopes, dreams and vision, can leap Lego houses at a single bound and his farts smell of perfume.
The lawsuit story made it to The TimesHerald.com website yesterday.
Papa Ray
McCain was born in Panama. The Constitution doesn't define "natural born citizen". Is McCain eligible? Maybe I should file a dumb ass lawsuit against him.
